Greenstreets client scoops SFA National Small Business Award.

Castlecool, a cold storage, warehousing and logistics company based in Co. Monaghan recently collected an SFA National Small Business Award. The company scooped the award in the services category and boasts a customer base comprising most of the major food producers in the country.

As part of its continued strive towards excellence and in conjunction with Greenstreets, Castlecool recently undertook a review of operations at their main premises in Co. Monaghan and Co. Louth. The areas investigated included Energy Supply, Building Energy Control, Refrigeration, Building Fabric, and Lighting.

The results of the study have been extremely beneficial for both the company’s bottom line and their environmental performance, with the recommendations yielding an 18% reduction in energy costs and a 7% reduction in energy usage.
