Oct 2010: Greenstreets Establishes UK Data Service with Wastepack

Greenstreets is delighted to announce that it has formed an exclusive partnership arrangement with one of the UK’s leading Compliance Schemes – Wastepack Limited, to provide a Data Collection Service for firms obligated under the UK’s Packaging Regulations.

Speaking at the formal launch of the service in early October, Wastepack’s Marketing Director Paul Van Danzig commented “Accurate Data is the key requirement that underpins effective compliance to the Packaging Regulations and this is why we have chosen to introduce this service now”

The Data Service, which is initially being offered to Wastepack members, will subsequently be rolled out across the UK and will be available to all firms. The service sits on Greenstreets’ own software platform “GRIPS”, which was recently launched as a stand-alone tool for firms preferring to manage their data in-house.

Greenstreets already provide similar services to obligated firms in Ireland and Australia and as their CEO Michael O’Byrne explains “Reporting requirements are becoming more onerous yet very few firms can retain the specialist staff required to keep abreast of these Regulations. This is a very safe and cost-effective way of outsourcing this work-load and firms can rest assured that their data returns will be accurate and in accordance with the Regulations”
