End of Life Vehicles

The Waste Management (End-of-Life Vehicles) Regulations, 2006 impose obligations on manufacturers / importers of motor vehicles. Greenstreets manage the compliance procedures for the motor industry in Ireland, with the assistance of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), the Department of the Environment, and the Environmental Protection Agency.

We manage the registration process with each local authority, prepare implementation plans and manage the annual reporting process. We also liaise with the Local Authority Liaison Committee, the local authorities, dismantlers and reprocessors, and central Government on an ongoing basis.
